finally watched that, thank you for posting it. i now realize what I was doing wrong while flying. I kept trying to fly far out and loop back to shoot people, but it just wasnt happening for me. I think that dudes method will work alittle better for me

Yeah, I've been trying to stay horizontal but I end up passing by too quick or stalling my jet trying to slow down enough to shoot people. I've been getting better at turning around, but I'll have to work on the dive bombing technique. I managed to follow some jets and shoot them but never enough to down one, even while flying into it while passing me

What? Why? Whats so bad about them? Stop flying in the middle of the air with no buildings or tree lines for cover and stay away from an area if they have 4 engineers with stingers aimed at you.

I really hope whiners don't ruin this game...the balance seems almost perfect to me. The only thing I'd be concerned about is how tac light is useful EVERYWHERE, even outside in broad daylight which is kinda wtf?

They take ages to lock on, your 1st shot is usually wasted if the target has any defense, and you only get 3. What needs to be nerfed?

Unless you shoot when they're flying towards you, odds are you won't hit anyway...

I don't see how its op that it can be fired from vehicles, or that its man powered. Thats kind of its purpose...again, people whining because they get shot down for being shitty at air vehicles =/

Maybe its cause pc fags have 64 players maps and having three or four people on constant stinger duty isnt that big a deal, but on brobox the shit is easy to deal with.

Stingers are a complete bitch to deal with in a chopper when there's 5+ engineers with them in a single game (and with how popular engineers are, this tends to be every game with air vehicles on 64 player maps). You can handle 1-2 focusing on you by flying behind trees or doing a fast landing to avoid launched stinger missiles, but anymore than that and you're going to get raped, no matter how good of a pilot you are. You can potentially handle 3 if you have Stealth and IR Flares equipped. Jets can just lolafterburn away from them so it's not as big of a deal to them. I think DICE's balancing mindset is that jets should be the "absolute" hard counter to helicopters rather than stingers.
