Decided to pick up mw3 on ps3 since my friends all play it on that and man what a waste of money should have trusted my better judgement. BF3 raised the fucking bar thats for sure.

Yeah that's my fear, i'm so happy with the realism in bf3 I feel like im going to waste 60 bucks on mw3, even more cause im going to HAVE to get elite if I want to stay up to date with the game 3 months later.

MW3 definitely isn't much of an upgrade from MW2/Black Ops, no one can argue that. I enjoy both games but MW3 just feels like a Black Ops reskin.

Picked this up the other day, and I'm loving it so far. Looks and reallly SOUNDS amazing. But man, I can't help but get stuck on some shit ass teams. It's like no matter what I get teams that only seem to TDM no matter what the game mode. I could care less about my K/D, but I hate losing conquest because people refuse to capture/defend points. On that note, would love to play with some peeps! PSN- Pnelly.

Yea this one game requires a perma of squad mates to really have fun with.

On that note, im driving home from my vacation right now! Im up for some games tonight around 10pm if any one is around for it.

Yeah, having to rely on pub players at all for Conquest is a recipe for fucking disaster. I tend to play with 3-4 other people so we're usually able to hold onto 1-2 points by ourselves even on the most shitty teams.

As a self-punishing pub squad aficionado... I tend to just try to pay attention for the first couple of Conquest matches and see who is typically coming out on top. Sometimes I am lucky enough to just get put on that squad, but most times if not I can just switch to their squad. Makes a huuuuuge difference in how fun the game is. I don't love the matches where you just dominate all points and trap the other team at spawn though. I find it much more enjoyable when the match lasts ages from all the back-and-forthing.

Back to Karkand will be $15 this December, if you don't have the LE. Hope that won't be the normal price for BF3 DLC....

to be fair, it's 4 bigass maps, new weapons, vehicles, and game modes, so at least it's pretty substantial for DLC
