Person on the forums made it seem like this client was updated with the patch. I don't know really, I am just going to give it a few days til they fix this issue.

Standalone doesn't get rid of the patch for me, major fail. Just not even going to bother, the game wasn't anything special anyway.

Yea if these guys are having this much trouble with their open beta patcher, hate to see later down the road. I'll stick with Aion and wait for DC Universe to try it out.

Okay, make sure you download both files from that link that Maguspk posted, yes it will require a reinstall of Champions Online, but 1hour30mins of uninstalling and reinstalling is a lot better then 36 hours of patching. I did this and now I only have a 32mb patch to DL.

Don't like it much but this will do for awhile also got the mini gun power for powered armor and made it shoot pink pew pew :3

Certainly not worth the time spent on installing. Going to cancel my preorder at gamestop today. Something about this game, I just don't see myself getting into it.

And I came to a conclusion, I can not stand the graphics.

Yea this game is definitely a no-buy for me, not only because it taxes my shitty computer to much, but it's just CoH with better graphics and slightly more customization.

I hope DC Universe doesn't dissapoint.

If Aion was coming out late next year I would play this until then just because I kind of like this. I could never get into cov/coh had knew idea the fuck I was supposed to do

I had the settings maxed, and it felt like they were really giving my 1gig 4890 a run for it's money. Plus when I ran it at 1920x1080 it went off the screen on all sides of the monitor for some reason, and that's my monitors native resolution which makes no sense.

Guy at gamestop gave me back my refund, 52.99$ and he didn't even round up..
