Bumping because it's out now. I'm really thinking about getting into this. I'm not a very creative person, and I hated CoH. But from a few friends, I heard this is great. Sell me on this BG.

Don't buy it, its a pretty ass game. I was sour going into it with how horrible their patch system went and that they didn't have the foresight that all those people would be bottle-necked.

In game, graphics were kind of interesting but got annoying quick, I hate how making a male character, you can't make anything really normal looking.

I would say the best thing about this game is the cape texture and the way they fall. Very well done.

This game is just a CoH with upgraded graphics, not even kidding. The only things that's new that I like about it were the Swinging travel power and the Public Quests they took from Warhammer.

Oh yeah the public quests were nice, they didnt have the huge cooldown like Warhammer. I wish more MMO's would adopt them to some degree.

Why is it bad though? I need more than just "it sux"

Some of my friends played CoH before CO, and they enjoy CO much more.

Well for one, the team seems unable to even get the first patch to go down right. Leaving a lot of people downloading files that were huge and would take up to 36hrs to even download.

CO really is just an updated version of CoH, but from what my friends tell me, CoH is still a better game right now due to it going out of its way to keep people from jumping ship. So I would say, if you really want a superhero game, to do CoH until CO has a little time under its belt.

Graphics wise, they are interesting, but it gets old very quick. If there was an option to toggle the comic book look with a more realistic look it would be very nice.

Gameplay was pretty boring to me, 1-5 is a very quick run, after that you're greeted with either going to Canada or A desert? I cant remember. It seems like its a very short trek though. I think I read an article where you go

Starter zone > Canada/Desert Crisis > Canada/Desert Regular > Some other zone > Some other zone.

    And it ends there.

Canada is the best zone and I would give this a C- in it's current state of the game some things feel good some do not.

Yeah, I'm pretty aware it's new and all. That's why I'm little hesitant on jumping on it right now. Like I said, I played CoH and I hated every minute of it. Not interested in going back to it. CO does look better to me at least (gameplay wise).

I'm playing it currently. I have a level 12 Gadgeteer named Barn Owl.

I don't like the controls that much. The graphics are tolerable (they feel like WOW graphics to me).

I plan on at least getting Barn Owl to 25, though I'm slowly losing interest in it.
