Xbox has 1-4 player online play. I played it for a little while yesterday. Seems like it's going to be pretty damn fun.
I absolutely have to eventually buy this, but I am torn whether I whould get it for the PC, or Wii now, or wait until I get a PS3 and get it on that platform.
Decisions, decisions. :_:
Wii version got horrid ratings I believe.
Can always hook up your PC monitor with the PS3 if it has a HDMI slot. But if not, sounds like you were due for a TV upgrade to HD anyway! If you're not looking to spend a lot on a TV, there are some very nice 720p's at around 32-37" for around $300-$400.
My current TV has a VCR built into it. >_> Yeah...
It wasn't as much about not having the money for it, I'm just a cheep bastard and buying a new TV meant also buying all the new toys that come along with it. I'll probably get something around a 1080p at ~42" since that it what my living room would be optimal for.
I'll probably just wait a week or so and see how the reviews go. I didn't preorder it or anything, so there is really no buying pressure besides teh fact I was a huge GB fan when i was a little kid.
Something a friend shared that had me chuckle:
<Egon> *horrified tone* Oh NO.
<Ray> What is it Egon?! You see something scary?!
<Egon> Stairs. Lots of STAIRS.
So true.![]()
Oh, I forgot to mention...PS3 version is very crappy quality compared to Xbawx or PC. Go look at screenshots of the two. It's like night and day.
Just finished the game PS3 version
+Ghost and boss's were a lot of fun
+Funny bits here and there
+So many references/area to Ghostbusters 1
+getting the cast+writers made the game shine
-70% of game was blowing the ghost not capturing them
-terrible lip sink here and there
-the final area ended too quick
-introducing new enemies right next to final boss
-not enough upgrades ended up with 80k+ extra money
I hope it sells well as you can see it was made with love and very good from a movie base game
Fun game so far. I'm at the part where you have to go into the building the marshmallow man is tearing apart looking for something. The fighting is repetitive imo. But it's still a good game since I grew up with the Ghostbusters.
Does this have off-line Co-Op (PS3)? i.e. something i can play with the wife?
The PS3 version is about 53.x% quality textures of the Xbox 360. I lost the article proving it though. :/
I fucking love the hell out of this game.
