yeah noticed that too.
we must change the minds of those third world tribal savages
also the us ain't so bad compared to genghis khan?
Nah, the U.S. is worse than Hitler, because the raw quantity of people that have died as a result of your existence is the one and only qualification considered in how "good" or "bad" anything is.
Technically, the belief in spreading one's culture because it is superior, scientific, and enlightened is a liberal idea. It would actually be a Berkian or Kantian conservative who would reject western imperialism on the grounds that forcing change on others or trying to destroy other unique cultures is wrong.
hmm, I wonder if I can make a comment to kuya without it turning into a shitfest in spam
wait, nobody will care anyway!
The liberal ideal (socially, this is) tends more towards "forcing allowances," i.e. forcing people to put up with shit they don't like, more so than forcing people to do certain things, or behave certain ways.
The conservative ideal leans much towards "forcing ideals," "righteous" punishment, etc. Saying, "you have to live life that way," as opposed to saying "you have to allow people to live life that way."
Although, it has modernized, and lately is much, much more difficult to separate "forcing your lifestyle on others," and "forcing people to deal with your lifestyle being what it is."
Clearly you are under the impression that any of us care about what you post... we're sorry for giving you that impression :/
learn to read
If you really believed what you said, you wouldn't have bothered to write the post. Clearly you were being self deprecatingly sarcastic, and I was just pointing out that there's no need, what you were saying was actually the case, we really don't care.
wait, you want to get into literal "if you didn't care you wouldn't be responding to me" kind of bullshit now?
cuz, uh, pot, yous a nigga
Help me help you
What year poli science student are you, plow?
That would be why I pointed out that what I was saying is modernized.
And I'm technically uh... 3 semesters~ish from graduating, but I switched. I started in mechanical engineering, then moved to psych, then picked up polisci because I was taking tons of its classes for electives and getting the 2nd major added like 15 credit hours.

I think this is going to be my response to all of these threads.
