Enjoy.
Caffeine is the primary ingredient in pretty much every energy drink.
I have no idea how people are calling that a placebo since caffeine is a scientifically proven psychoactive stimulant...
Inc thread jacking, sorry.
If you need energy in the morning but don't want to drink energy drinks or anything like that (I want something healty), what should you get? Do apple really wake you up and get you ready like suggested earlier?
I'm a noob in terms of what your body needs and in what quantity.
I personally drink a sugar free red bull every day typically in the mid day when I start to feel a bit sluggish at work. I consider it my coffee. I never understood how people can be so positive about being adamantly addicted to coffee and caffeine so much that they can't even function without five or six cups, but when someone enjoys something with the same effect but isn't coffee they are up in arms.
I don't drink soda ever either. When I game I have a gallon pitcher of water next to me and that's it. I eat extremely healthy, but enjoy a redbull to keep me going through the day.
Get better sleeping habits is what you do. You shouldn't wake up feeling tired or groggy...that's not "normal".Inc thread jacking, sorry.

If you have good sleeping habits and that happens anyways, congratulations, you have a sleeping disorder, likely genetic...see a doctor.
I operated on just about every once of energy drink out there for the better part of 2 years until I had a pretty crazy stress induced heart problem. Dropped them like a bad habit, picked up a solid diet and sleep schedule, and sure enough it works just as well. All I need in the morning is a juice to drink and small breakfast and I have the energy to go til lunch.
There is no reason to use these at all...
If you're tired all the time in the morning then the most likely sleeping disorder you'd have is Sleep Apnea, which is not treated with medicine.
Apea is a serious life threatening condition(it will cut 30+ years off of your life left untreated, not to mention give you a horrible quality of life), and the most common treatment is sleeping with a breathing mask attached to an air compression machine.
The more you know! Seriously though, if you have a sleep condition see a doctor, they're all very serious and have hundreds of complications they can cause. Medicine isn't even a common treatment for sleep disorders.
isn't Guarana one of the ingredients of 5hr? Which is basically just another form of caffeine, but they can typically pump more into drinks than regularly labeled caffeine because limits haven't been set on it yet or some such?
I think because I'm such a big soda drinker (trying to break habit) shit like Rockstar Energy, Monster, and other various energy drinks didn't do shit for me. 5 hour is the only one that works, and works pretty good. Gives me the jitters just a bit, but I only use it on rare occasions when my sleep schedule gets fucked up and I need one to last the night at work. I've only had to use two so far, so don't think it will develop in to a problem.![]()
ive done a 5hr and a 6hr and they worked for me during finals. 6hr one kept me hyper for almost 8 hours tho
You know, as an occasional user of energy drinks, it's not like I really look forward to taking them, but there are times when working nights and that sort of thing catches up with you, and a pick me up helps.
Saying they're never necessary is probably true, but I'm not going to pretend they don't help.
People who say they aren't necessary, obviously don't work stressful or high pressured jobs. I work 14 hours a day with a 20min break at 5pm(start at 10) so I need a double espresso or 2 to keep me going. Coffee is more appealing to me than energy drinks, as the sugar crash can be really harsh, especially when you're trying to concentrate.
I find tho, the problem with energy drinks/coffee is the high is so strong, you need something to bring you down. This leads to high anxiety levels for me which is frustrating sometimes, especially finishing at midnight full of energy lol
I had never drank coffee til about a year ago, I genuinely couldn't believe how much it gets you going, in fact I'd say as strong as a line of coke that lasts way longer.
Do you get regular botox injections too?
Tried 5 hour once out of boredom. It actually works and I was a bit more productive at work. lol Yeah though I wouldn't take it on a daily basis, fuck energy drinks... people that think they need them to get by are retarded.
