As for True Blood, it just keeps getting better and better. Theres alot of weaving the book stories from what I hear with the "bull man", and the trip to Dallas. I was so stoked for Hoyt when he had the balls to talk to Jessica. Some moments she looks very young but when she was at Merlotte's, she was earning my attention.

p.s. Reading the HBO site for the show, I didnt realize that Andy was brothers with the cook, Terry. Find it hard otherwise that two ppl in such a small town wouldnt be brothers if they had the same last name.

I was pretty damn disappointed with this season so far... but I'm absolutely in love with the girl that plays Jessica, and the new stuff with her in this episode, and how it's gong to play out, not just with her but with Bill, and how he looks at his relationship with Sookie, pretty much just instantly save it for me. Can't wait to see.

I so didn't realize she was in Almost Famous. That's one of my favorite movies. Now I feel ashamed.

Yeah that kinda got lost tho in the first couple minutes of that episode with the two of them fighting then Sookie gettin' the claw.

yes, but it's definitely geared to a female audience. It's pretty trashy and totally fun, it does not in any way try to take itself nearly as seriously as Twilight series did. i can read a book from the series in a day.

I really like that they're breaking so much from the books, honestly, they will be able to still do some of the storylines in teh books but with a different preface.

Tara isn't nearly as big a character, Eggs is introduced in a different manner, Amy and Jessica don't exist, etc... and Eric isn't nearly quite so... mean. The whole voodoo thing with Tara's mom didn't even exist, and Lafayette was the body found in the detectives car. Just some of the changes.

Is the book series pretty good and worth reading?

It goes both ways, the book is strictly from Sookie's PoV so that's the only angle you get. Some of the stuff in the TV series I like better, some of teh stuff in the book I like better. I will say this though, I liked the book's version much much more then the TV shows adaption of sookie getting attacked in the woods and the fangtasia developments.

What I do like, is both are different enough so that it feels fresh watching the show or reading the books. Yeah there are a good amount of similarities, a lot of source material is unchanged, the basic turn of events is the same between em, but they are still different enough overall to make both enjoyable. Also, gotta realize they are making 12 episode season's out of a 290-300 page book lol
