Last week's deficiency is this week remedied by underpants. And yet, still, I desire moar Jessica.

Holy crap, they actually advanced some storylines this week. Great job with the cliffhangers, too.

I felt bad for Sam. The wtf look on his face after what he was dragged into, poor guy.

Thought the episode started a bit slow and the church stuff felt rushed in order for them to toss other side stories into the episode, but overall a really good episode. My favorite part, aside Hoyt being awesome and showing up at Jessica's door, was when Eggs traced his memories to a previous ritual site once they got outside of Maryaan's magic/control (or w/e you want to call it). And the episode ending was awesome.

Next episode looks fantastic though w/Sarah being all like "we need to tell Steve" hahaha. I thought the whole daphne thing was a bit too good to be true, but I would have never thought she was Maryaan's pig...

    Spoiler: show
It looks like they are leaving the out the parts of the book that have to deal w/ the Dallas Shifters... such a shame cause those parts in the book were awesome....

I LOL'd when Eggs and Tara follow the train of empty booze bottles and clothes and find Mary Ann shake dancing and were like "WTF?" and then in the next scene Eggs is ramming away at Tara.

The flashback where Bill was in Chicago surprised me because it appeared Steve Moyer was actually playing the piano while singing. Kudos to him for being so talented.

They opened up a pretty big window there into Bill's past with that scene.. Something along the line changed his outlook on how to "be a vampire" and caused him to break ties with Lorena. Hopefully they'll fill in the blank spot at some point.

I'm discussing it with my wife about ordering it. If it was a month ago, I am sure she would have shot it down without batting an eye. But after buying season one on blu ray and making her catch up to the rest of the show, she might let me get away with spending $16 on orange soda.

Btw, the blu ray for season one is fulled with random documentary style shorts. Too bad you have to sit thru enhanced viewing of the episodes for a chance to see them.

I like the differences from the books, turning Godfrey into Godric and making him Eric's maker was a nice touch. The only bad part is having read the books, I know where it's generally headed but the GOOD part is since the books are all first person narratives from Sookie's perspective, it leaves a lot of room to flesh out the other characters' comings and goings.

[Edit: kind of laughed at the end, the guy playing Godric is like 5'5 or 5'6 and must have been standing on a milk crate the way he was holding Gabe up, who seems like a pretty normal to big sized dude.]

Even having the read the books I thought tonights episode was fantastic. Hyott's scene's were so corky I almost felt embarassed to watch, but the fit his character. I agree about knowing where it's going because of the books, but the show is still diff enough to make it very exciting to watch and still enjoyable.

Oh yeah I definitely enjoy the show, and with so many interesting characters the episodes feel jam packed... it's like there's "A" plot, "B" plot, "C" plot, etc.

I'm starting to like Andy Bellefleur more and I hope he is soon vindicated, it's sad to see him look like the town drunk/idiot when he's one of the only people that actually knows something is off (other than Sam, of course).

A couple episodes ago I was getting really tired of the Maryann storyline.. it was just constant partypartyparty BLAH all the damn time and then freeloading at Sookie's house I was like wtf is this shit. Now that's it's become this whole supernatural cult type thing and she's taken over the entire town to go after Sam (plus Andy's the only one who knows the truth and no one believes it) it's gotten sooooo much better!

One Stackhouse "Hot Beef Injection" and Sarah went from preachy chick to totally batshit crazy in 0.8 seconds. And go Hoyt, get that bootay.. Jessica is damned hot.

Bye bye, Daphne, you wont be missed.

    Spoiler: show
Lets hope that either Sarah isnt a good shot, or that someone like Eric or Stan gives him blood to heal from whatever gunshot would he has. Shit is picking up it seems
