On a side note. Only thing I didn't like about this past Sunday's episode was when Sookie went to call out to Barry. There was no build up or thought cycle to it, she just used her power in a diff way, for the first time, w/o any sort of contemplation
I'm wondering if they're eluding to Andy being a "super" of some sort since he doesn't seem affected by Mary Ann.
I just watched this Sunday's episode.....and gah of course they have to end it right there.....I think the vampires are going to massacre the whole church....I can't wait!
I was thinking the first party, at the mansion Mary Ann was staying at, he was more guildable / drunk than being persuaded by a power. But I guess I don't remember how he ended up the night.
Just getting into True Blood. What is a supa lol?
Can anyone give me the 30 second run down on what the fuck is going on. I wont get the first season through net flix for a bit..
There are apparently vampyrs that everyone knows about...
(They are really strong, based on age, must "sleep" during the day, and can glamor (hyptotize people).
There are other creatures (shape shifters?) like andy.
There is now that one chick that is apparently the devil..
Everyone is fucking everyone else.
Anything else I am missing?
And some humans are telepaths..
The shape shifters are Sam and Daphne.
Glamoring is a bit beyond hypnotization.. it's manipulation of memory and actions as well, or at least that's how the show portrays it.
Apparently Paquin and the guy who plays Bill are engaged IRL now. I wish them luck on raising a boring, melodramatic child who is inexplicably tolerated by his much more interesting friends.
I'm pretty sure I read about it in an article on woosh.com. Go over there and check it out.
I read another True Blood article there about how the actor who plays Sam sniffs dogs butts to get into character.
"Don't use words I don't know, either." Excellent line.
