The island is a pretty good place weather wise as the rain comes when you hit mainland. I think a lot of people retire there and I'm not sure how hippy it is.

I had a week-2 week long cold the other week, in frigging June ffs; anyway if I cared so much about weather as my primary focus I would move somewhere along the equator/tropics or wherever the weather is the same all year round
