We thought he was on RL leave because he was moving from his sisters house into a new house somewhere. Now we get told he's been playing on different servers.

Well, to be honest, I have no idea. Smilinbob HAD access to the account. He told me that the PREVIOUS OWNER had ninja lotted the Homam pieces. But with how we're finding how big of a liar Smilinbob really is... It very well could have been him. I have no idea if he still has access to that account. As far as I know, it was traded for Plug.

Bob was never in MercX, and he has no completed salvage gears to my knowledge.

According to his app with us, his original character was LM-17'd during the mass salvage bannings because someone in his previous linkshell had used his toon for salvage. In fact he even mentioned in his app that everyone in his linkshell was required to give out their login info to the officers of the shell as a condition of their membership.

Now, THIS infuriates me. This is utter and complete bullshit. I lobbied so hard to get Bob into our salvage group, even though a lot of our regulars did not think he would be able to deal with the pace and subsequent stress we knew he would undergo.

To suggest that we EVER duped any fucking gear pisses me off beyond belief. There's a reason none of us got banned - we didn't fucking dupe.

Not to mention, the suggestion that he was required to give us his account info is so beyond laughable. You know the SSG dramabomb in the cross-server player warnings? Yea - he gave THAT guy ("new" ssg, not the old one) his account info after knowing him like 1 week. We had to bitch him out to make him change it, knowing it would overall be a bad thing and he would regret it (since SSG had already proven himself to be a cheat and generally shady person - the dude would freaking warp hack to Jugner - like, who is still dumb enough to warp hack?!).

We logged onto his account all of a handful of times and for only two purposes. The first was the occasional need for a glassmule for dynamis. The second is when I logged him in to help finish his COP missions, because I felt so bloody bad for his ass and his living situation that I played I character I knew nothing about so he could join the fun in sea with the rest of us. I did those missions FOR him.

I am incredibly pissed off to learn that it was all a pack of lies (as I had been warned by someone for a while).

If he claimed to belong to mercuryX, then he is an absolute piece of shit liar. He has been in Armada for a long time. Bob never, ever belonged to Mercx.

I feel pretty bad for Aratz right now. Those two were tight. Bob let him believe they were good buddies. What a slap in the face.

By the way, this should have been your first clue that he was lying. There's no coming back from LM-17, period. Ever. And SE "talk" to someone about it? Then decide, "oh, ok, you broke our rules, but we will give you another shot." Lawwwwwwwwwwwwwl.

The person in control of that pld account was the same person that had taken advantage of this guy when they were friends and changed password.

Because, if you had read the thread we *thought* he was a great guy. Apparently, he was nothing more than a great liar (which Yabs has been saying to me for agggggggeeeeeessssss - especially with his BS story about why he had to move in with his sister and such). It is someone from our linkshell (not an officer) who had suspicions based on other threads he read about regarding chickenpickles and the homam ninja lotting. I've spoken to this member about his concerns but since he did not post posing as a Paradigm officer, we left the thread alone.

Anyhow, this thread will not affect Plug/Lol's membership to Paradigm, so as far as the officers of Paradigm are concerned, there is no reason to continue this thread any furthur.
