How is a body with a bit of +HP/MP and Conserve MP with Refresh going to own existing pieces? Also the melee body (for DRK/WAR at least) to be slightly weaker than Ebody of course but the THF/NIN/MNK body it would be nice to see with good stats, or do you all just wanna see pieces of shit that will never be used to make yourselves feel better for not having to obtain them and keep existing top pieces?

Grinding Campaign shouldnt be effort enough for a super great body piece, they should be more situational.

Camping Kings daily and botting against multiple Linkshells is effort enough for the greatest melee armor in the game, also repeatedly doing Odin til you are up is yeah. Bullshit, it is the community with this attitude that makes the game so shit you all moan about it. I have never done a single fucking campaign but I would see it fair to see someone earn a very strong piece through multiple ranks and hundreds of thousands of points.

Unless they really mix up how they measure performance in campaign this will massively unbalanced and always be won by PLD/DNC or SAM/DNC.

BLM, RDM (playing as a RDM not meleeing), BLU etc will never ever get even close.

It sounds like they have a cut of point, so if you earn less 1,000 exp in the battle you can not lot.

Still that will mean a SAM will mediate to 300 TP, Sekkanoki, Spam WS till they get hate, Tank that mob (self healing) until its dead, AFK for the rest of the battle and still make the cut.

Whereas a BLM will be stunning TP moves, Sleeping groups, nuking, enfeebling, DoTing, elemental enfeebles for the whole battle and will get 1004 exp

Pssh. I usually Campaign as RDM/BLM.

Pretty much. I need to see how Iron Ram Haub stacks up to the ACP Body. Most likely, it will just be the new body in my MDB set, unless it packs some serious Enmity+ on it, or some other surprise stat. Definitely not expecting anything like that though.

I am very excited about the Northlands campaigns, the standard ones have been very boring the last ump-teen months. I've only done enough of them to maintain rank, and get the occasional 'almost there' merit.

I'm curious how they are going to handle the loot, it says caskets, but thats going to be a little weird with groups "larger then party and alliances". I'm guessing they would work a little different then how they do now.

Hopefully they will rebuff fortifications in non-dungeon areas too, its such a pain to get there with only 1 mob, or standing there for 30+ mins waiting for mobs to come. Since the only reason to actually hit the fortifications now before mobs are there is if you are dnc or /dnc for TP. Its kinda pathetic they just went and gimped it so much, rather then just making the mobs actually protect the thing -_-

The point being though, at least in part, SE has always stressed doing things in groups, and campaign pieces are fully obtainable solo. It doesn't encourage you in any way to try to.. you know, make friends.

Which for some people, yeah, it would be nice to get a nice piece of armor without having to rely on other people; because some people burn so many bridges and whatnot they have very little chance of getting anywhere.

Look at refresh for BLMs as an example:
Relic Body, Salvage Body, Dalmatica.
Alternatives Black/Ixion Cloaks where you can't equip headpieces or a completed Yigit armor set from Assaults.

Not even the ACP reward gets the option for refresh. I can't really see them throwing a godly body piece at players that rivals the top endgame pieces as a reward from something casual and singleplayer orientated as campaign.

Also, I think that gargoyle is looking awfully spindly. Despite (usually) being made of stone, I wonder if it will have low Defense, low HP, and be weak to piercing weapons like other flying Spindly creatures in the game.

Relic body is pritty easy to get, so I dont see the difference of haveing a AN Body with refresh. Have them for WHM BLM and SCH (well sublimation +). This might onyl have a big impact on RDMs with relic hat. Otherwise your argument is pritty fail. Besides BLM "usually" dont cast spells in a "refresh" body, they use it mostly for idle gear. And dont tell me a WHM cant get a nobles tunic easy^^.

The Refresh on the body is only realy good for BRD, RDM, SCH (even on SCH only if your sublimation effect is full).

ACP not having Refresh is a good arguement? Are you fucking retarded? It is simple and takes what, 10 hours total to complete? Of course Refresh should not be an option there, Campaign arguably more so.
Why BLM was mentioned there is beyond me also, relic body is easy to obtain and BLM can't wear a Refresh head piece (the only situation where it would be arguably overpowered) and it's not like you're gonna nuke in the Campaign body piece.
