Vagrant Story hits NA PSN this Tuesday, no word on price though
I don't think I've ever seen a single PSN release from SE that wasn't $10 at minimum.
PixelJunk Shooter 2 coming out this Tuesday, will be nabbing that for sure. Still twiddling my thumbs over purchasing Xenogears, although I did nab RE2, which is looking great on my PSP.
PSblog response said Vagrant Story will be $5.99
Sold. No reason for me not to, even though I have it on PSP as well as PC emulator. Eff it. Sold.
FUCK
YES
Legend of Mana on US PSN on Tuesday.
Goddamn FINALLY.
IT'S SO PRETTY.
And the Jumi arc always gets me.
Not even done with Xenogear or Vagrant Story yet![]()
I know... damn. I cannot keep up. Not complaining though, so nice that they finally released these.
Agreed. Glad to see all these classics finally hit the PSN, now I can amass a crazy classic collection without having to worry about shelf space.
Super Stardust HD getting a new DLC mode years after the last release for it, heh. Impact mode from the PSP version, which was fucking awesome to play - http://blog.us.playstation.com/2011/...c-impact-mode/
On the subject of yet-another-Squaresoft/Enix-game-coming-to-PSN (wish Capcom would get off their ass and do the same), I never played Legend of Mana. What exactly am I to expect from playing it? Only experiences prior in the Mana series is the three Seiken Densetsu, and whatever one that came out on GBA that I despised because your AI partner had the most retarded AI pathfinding ever.

Pathfinding isn't an issue, the maps are different from the older Seiken Densetsus. The gameplay is actually more like Castle Crashers, but without the beat-em-up scrolling or spawning. The fights don't have a transition, they do occur in set spots like Chrono Cross though.
You'll also be surprised how many systems the game uses that are latter pretty much mimicked by FFXI.
Been considering buying Fat Princess lately, but I'm wondering if there is still an online community for it. If not, is it reasonably fun to play against just a friend?
Moon Diver is up on PSN store if anyone wants to try it out. Full Game is 14.99. There's a demo for it you can try as well.
a great game that didn't really come into it's own as it should have is Threads of Fate. it's an old Square title that I believe they've uploaded to the PSN store. It's kind of a story-heavy action game with two different storylines (you can pick between two main characters.)
Gah, if I didn't already have Vagrant Story and Xenogears to play right now (and Beyond Good & Evil HD over on 360) then I would likely grab Threads of Fate as well. I was one of the people that overlooked it back when it came out, since I was busy playing Legend of Mana and Chrono Cross instead. I suppose it isn't going anywhere though, and since all attempts to play it on my PSP have largely failed (due to poor attention span, not poor functionality) I will surely grab it at some point.
it was, I know! I think I actually got all three around the same time but didn't end up playing Legend of Mana until later - my brother played it first and loved it so much he played it like 3 times before I could get it away from him. Threads of Fate is great, though. I've played it through like 4 or 5 times over the years.
Threads of Fate is great. I actually bought and played it when it first came out, and recently played through it again on my PSP.
