Persona 4: Arena will be released as a downloadable game on PlayStation Network this week, Atlus have announced. The game will be available for download in the U.S. tomorrow.

Just MMX1 and MegaMan1 (Powered Up). Both are great, but I guess they didn't turn a high enough profit for Capcom to bother giving the same treatment to the rest of them.

For those who liked Rainbow Moon, they're making a new game titled Rainbow Skies set to release in 2014.

Eastasiasoft and SideQuest Studios, the developer behind PlayStation Network strategy RPG Rainbow Moon, have announced Rainbow Skies, a new RPG coming to “consoles and handhelds” in late 2014.

A “completely new game set in a new world with new characters and a new story,” Rainbow Skies is built on Rainbow Moon‘s battle system, but offers “an even deeper and more versatile” experience.

Sony has updated the PlayStation Store to version 1.03 on PlayStation 3. What’s different? There doesn’t appear to be any official notes, but it seems to load faster, and single-click download for free content has returned. No more going through three or four steps in the Cart to download a demo.

Tinkered with the store. Outside of the mentioned removal of a couple unnecessary prompts (adding to cart, which is still slower than it should be, and the extra prompt checking out after adding funds), nothing else has changed that I can see.

It was nice of them to not address the ass load time for the store itself, or the non-stop stuttering the interface has (extremely noticeable when inputting password), or the lack of optional onscreen keyboard when searching for content, or the download history still being a giant vertical chronological list. You still can't filter for DLC or have multiple filters in effect also.

Damn thing so slow and useless I've come to just use the recently new web-browser store, which is miles above and beyond what the PS3 store wishes it could be. I'm baffled that three updates later, nothing really has improved on the store to make it more usable.

Also, whose bright idea was it to have the store only show a 3x2 grid of content with a massive banner above it under certain areas, like Full Games and PS+?

Europeans with PS+ getting a hell of a month at any rate. It's bad enough they already got Batman:AC and Sleeping Dogs a couple months ago. Now they get Mass Effect 3, Dead or Alive 5, Joe Danger:Movies for PS3, MGS 2/3 HD and Puddle for Vita.

The store has been a fucking mess ever since they changed it. They circulated around a survey about it vs. the old one earlier in the month, and what people felt issues with it were, so I imagine they're looking at changing it again. Or maybe not.

Either way, just want to echo that whatever they updated didn't seem to do dick outside of the one click download on free content.

There's been a fair amount of crossovers in the past, but lately the difference has been NA getting mostly more-recent digital titles as free, while EU is balls out on swapping in retail games.
