Having done exactly that, I'd tend to disagree.

We got one (mine) on about our 8th or 9th run. We spent about another 100 runs trying to get 2 more, without ever seeing more than a handful of ??? rings, and of those, not a single Divisor.

I'd rather just build up AP, get items to sell, and use that gil to buy a Sniper +1 or Toreador's Ring, if the alternative was spamming Azure.

I didn't say it was fun or quick.

Just that it is a very nice ring (imo what the Ulthalam's ring should have been) and the assault was easy enough to spam.

I have no idea about the drop rate, I only did the assault once on the way to captain.
