This. I got a Rank 5 on main and a Rank5 on my mule and I'm happy with that since I figured I would fare that way. The less I know how close I was to winning the less I have to be like "Damn I hate everything" and I can not worry about a stupid game lottery.

um, how so I don't see whats wrong with taking the second best gkt in the game, when you realize when with prize gil you don't have time/resources/drive/etc to do a relic, seems like reasonable choose to me since winning would only be half of a self funded relic.
