    I don't think it was Esteban. He wouldn't risk shooting Nancy in front of Stevie.

    Someone the Russian girl hired perhaps. Or Shane's cop friend maybe. I thought maybe Dimitri but that doesn't make sense because he didn't have any particular hard feelings towards her, he would have just knocked on the front door (real shame that they got rid of him, he was super hot).

    It was definitely a white guy, with curly dark hair. I forget eye colour. I suppose it could be Esteban but I don't know if the writers want to get Nancy mired down in the Mexican mob again because that's really when the show took a turn for the worse (after she got pregnant).

    I think that either Jill gets hit, Kevin Nealon gets hit, or someone has come up behind the shooter and shoots him.

    That's what one of the police officers said but we never saw it on screen and we never saw a body. I suspect that the writers just wanted him out of the show because he was causing too much muck for Nancy to extract herself from. But it was written in such a way that the police could have conceivably "made a mistake"

    Oh, I don't think it's a *good* idea, but it's definitely something writers start to do when series get old and tired. Shane was at the table so it couldn't be him.
