This is true, and also the reason I really wish they'd cut Karen already. Kill her off, move her to Alaska, make her join a cult and disappear. Whatever the writers need to do to decrease Hank's pathetic lovesick fuckup quotient is fine by me. It's cooler to be a fuckup that chooses to be one, than one who just opts out of every lifestyle because they can't have the one they want.

Yeah, these writers hate their characters. Nancy's charm wore off sometime around the third season, and now she just spends all of her time making irrationally bad decisions that make everyone hate her. Silas and Shane are both much more savvy criminals that have the ability to think on their feet. Nancy does have rare moments where it does seem she's learned how to operate decently well as a drug dealer, but for the most part she just walks blindly into terrible situations and ruins things for everyone else. I watch the show primarily for Shane now.

Silus ended up pretty fucking emo bitchy so his character is pretty dead to me. Shane and Andy are/were the best characters left on the show as far as the main crew goes.

Too late to save it from having been a complete failure for several years, but at least they'll get a final season to wrap this hot mess up. I would say maybe they can redeem themselves, but unless Nancy is dead, that seems unlikely.
