Just watched the episode. It is as bad as you say. Very mediocre. I hope the season improves.

weeds was an okay comedy, the spin-off is terrible.

It usually takes 3-4 episodes from the premiere to get into the heart of the new season. First couple episodes close last season and setup the new one.

Yep. I guess the show being called Weeds is misleading, it's just the start to the real show called "Nancy's Life Fucking Sucks"

It's weird how they completely shut down the Esteban storyline though. I guess they couldn't figure out a decent way to untangle Nancy from him.

I don't understand why Shane and Andy had to go to New York immediately. Nancy is such a fucking screw up. She shouldn't have as much power over them as she does.

They didn't age Shane well. He still looks 16 years old.

I never knew that the guy who plays Shane also voiced Nemo in Finding Nemo. Learn something new every day.

2nd episode seems to have a sense of Rebooting of the series. Its starting to get back into the Weeds of things.

I'm liking how Andy has changed. He actually seems mature.

I think it's kinda disgusting how nancy is still a hot mess and hasnt learned anything. Her character is so disgusting, it makes the show unwatchable sometimes.

She's really alienated her entire family, and after all this, she hasn't learned ANYTHING? And still involving her kids. I guess it's less entertaining to me because I know people who are actually like her. What was once a really charming, witty and sexy character, is so now a completley self absorbed head case. The show would honestly be so much better if she was killed off. You literally root for something bad to happen to her so she goes away or learns her lesson.

The family seems to be waaaay above the average household, why the fuck does she need to keep slinging dicks especially now that Doug is hooking her up with some cushy job next episode. And it looks like she's going to be screwing the boss unless the company turns out to be a ponzi scheme in the end or something.

I cant sympathize with her at all. Yeah she's hot and has a charm about her but she's a cunt that basically morally and financially bankrupted her family. I agree she should die or atleast get life in prison before the show ends.

I'm sad to say it, but after following this show for almost 7 years now, I think I'm done.

It has been getting worse and worse the last few years, but this season has just pushed me over the edge.

wtf.... I was going to go through and point out all the changes in all the characters, but its not really worth my time. I'm going to guess, since you have just started watching the show, and burned through all 6 seasons in less than a year, where as I have been following the show for 7 years now, you still have the fresh feel to it. I guess you are just blinded by the goodness that it once was and just can't see how terrible it has become. I just have a feeling that if you would have watched the show from the start, you would have the same opinions as everyone else, that the show has become garbage. But, saying none of the characters have changed over the last 6-7 season is just silly. To stick up for something you like is one thing, but to white knight it that hard is just sad.

And, I really have never had any hate for Nancy, I thought her screwing shit up all the time is what made the show good, but, I'm really starting to hate her this season, shit is just terrible.

my only complaint with the show is the 30 minute episodes, wish they were longer.

i have been watching this show since its original debut, and while I can agree with you that I feel the characters have changed a great deal over the course of the show, I don't really find myself enjoying this season or recent seasons any less than previous ones, and I don't really find the show has become too outlandish, since that seems to be the complaint. Of course its all opinion and personal taste, I guess it would help to have some specific examples of why you don't feel the show at this point, or recently, is as good as earlier seasons.
