Problem, possibly with my router.

Greetings good friends, today i tried to log on to final fantasy XI on my 360 but had trouble doing so. I eventually found out that there was a 24 hour maintenance so i left the house. i come back and decide i really want to play FFXI so i unplug my 360 and replace it with my ps2, and the internet won't work for the ps2 either.

i play using a router and it definitely isn't my internet, i'm typing this using my laptop that is plugged in to the same router.

Might bea good idea to put a Static IP on your PS2 if it's not already done see how it goes, might be your PS2 not talking DHCP

Now i don't have a PS2 so i can't tell you steps by steps were are the options but atm that would be my bet.

Also if your laptop is wired and the PS2 too, and you saw the Laptop works, might wanna try plugging the PS2 in the same slot as the laptop works, if it doesnt work, the problem should be from cable or PS2. While if you plug it in the laptop port on the Router and it works.

Might have some slots dead on the router
