I actually have a wolf shirt, which I specifically bought with the purpose of buying the worst shirt I could find in the thrift store. I found a great old faded black shirt, one wolf with a moon in the background, one of those bad 80s art too-much-detail almost-looks-like-a-photo type deal.

I wore this shirt all the time, once with a mullet wig to a Dears concert, where I stayed in character as a hick-type with such phrases as "how's it goin' eh?" My name was Jerret.

Then one day I met its maker. I had come home, and my housemates I had met through yoga were holding a yoga type gathering on a Sunday, and my yoga instructor was there, and as I'm taking off my sweatshirt to reveal to them what I always liked to call "the worst shirt in the world" and was about to announce it as such, his wife catches sight of it, and says "Hey Tad, it's your shirt!"

Turns out my yoga teacher had painted the original art for the print (sadly not in the 80s) and he came way too close to hearing exactly what I thought of the shirt. How random is that, though, that he had made this shirt I had bought years before meeting him.
