Looking for a server

Coming back after a multiple year hiatus, looking for a server as the one I started on"Alexander" is a drama soaked mess. Anyone wanna give props/hate on their server, or offer some suggestions?

Gonna be a casual player starting from scratch, so the HNM scene doesn't interest me as much as being on a server where people generally tend to get along.

Not Unicorn. Can't go to Odin or Bahamut as far as I'm aware right now, but if you can find rl friends to play with, that's a plus

Go to Pandemonium.

I'm only recommending this because I recently started from scratch as well on Pandemonium, and I had no problems. Then again, I have a shit ton of friends on Pandemonium. I recently migrated to Remora, but I'm planning on going back to Pandemonium after I finish leveling a few jobs over here.

Pandemonium use to be hell to level in, but since they implemented Level Sync, shit's not hard anywhere anymore honestly. You won't spend as much time looking for party either, so. Also, I said you don't care much about the HNM scene or whatever, but whenever you get to that level, there are a handful of decent endgame shells on Pandemonium that might intrigue you. Also, finding a decently populated social shell is not difficult at all.

Another note... camping NMs is also a breeze. I remember when I started, at level 13 I already had empress hairpin, bounding boots, etc with no sub job (that's because I dual boxed, but I hardly ever had any competition for any NM).

Hope that gave you some necessary insight. I love Pandy to death, and the people on that server are pretty chill. If you do decide to start on this server, look for a dude named Deadwing and tell him Despain told you to hit him up D:

Should look for a server no one remembers is a server (Like Quetz).
