I'm having a slight case of the dense this week, I still don't know what you pounded
fists
oh, bump to pound, k; my apologies I completely lost track of the OP
Well he literally told me "Let me pound that" and then there was this awkward shuffling as I had stuff in my hands at the time and so he just kinda had his fist extended towards me for a moment as we were walking and I put my notebook and maps under my arm.
I never feel more white than when I need to bump fists or whatever
I simply cannot read the body language whether I'm supposed to do like a Fresh Prince 3+ step hand slap/cross/bump/respek knuckles or go in for a single clasp-chest bump-back thump, or a fist on top of fist-fist below fist-open slap-reverse slap-psh action
I just don't know
I think once I respek knuckle'd someone in the forearm, god I hate me
You just need to be more pro-active about it.
I just wish there were easy to read roadsigns for this stuff
curvy road ahead, or
respek knuckles, 3 fist taps, and a psh in 50 meters
For me at least I can tell mostly by how they look. NY or LA hat on it's def not a handshake.
It really can't be isolated instances of people getting their greeting hand gestures all messed up resulting in ugly looking things. I bet like 50% of people who do them wish it would all go away to 1 simple greeting just to avoid the fake it as you go style between 2 people who don't know each other.
I've actually taken it in a different direction, after taking your advice and giving it some of my own consideration
I like to lean in for a nice friendly open-mouthed kiss; nothing says "What up Blood?" like a deep passionate french-kiss
Do you know people who say 'what up blood?'
no but if I did I would kiss them on the mouth
totally
What up Blood?
this is my kissing face
