I thought FF8 was FUCKING AWESOME when I first played it. I rewatched the scene where they break into that huge black building with their dragon ship about 20 times. lol I tried replaying that one too around the same time as FF9 but it freezes up when i go from Disc 1 to Disc 2. I needed to take better care of my shit as a kid!

Don't get me wrong... I loved all that stuff, but there's a lot more that I'd rather not slog through.

Lots of stuff in the game really impressed me, I think the one thing from the game I'll always remember is the boss theme that plays in your fights with Edea and the first form of Ultimecia.

Oh I'll definitely remember the songs if I hear them, I just never paid enough attention to be like "wow that was a good boss fight song!" while playing it, or even after I'm done.
