LM-17 wtf

I called back and was told to wait a few more days for them to resolve this issue. >< I am wondering if it is going to be reactivated on the day the next billing cycle goes through. If so, I am going to be even more pissed. Right now I am leaning towards quitting and I wanted to return the equip I had borrowed from my friends and sell and give my money away. I really don't want to pay this company any more money.

I'm leaning that way right now too. I've found myself trying to rekindle my love for this game for the past while to no avail, and this LM-17 might just be the straw that breaks my back.

Please provide more details. Was this your first ban, or did you get banned last month? When did you initially contact SE? How did you find out your account had been returned to you? Phone? Email? Random trying to log in?

Like paid the bill then had the money charged back?

Yeah, like told their credit card company that the charges weren't authorized, so the credit card company took the money back from SE. In most people's case, it happened because SE charged them more than they should have one month and wouldn't refund the money, so they had the credit card company take it back.

Yup pretty much what happened to my ex's account (the one that is currently banned). She tried canceling her mules only leaving her main. The next month she got billed 29.98 and she nor POL could figure it out so she disputed it and quit shortly later.

When I reactivated it later there were unpaid fees on the account so there was definitely a chargeback. This was nearly two years ago... lol

My chargeback came when i used my wifes CC when I first got the game. I honestly didnt realize, I thought for months that i was slipping under the radar and playing for free. Turns out my wife didnt notice the charge on her card for like 6 months lol. Before talking to me, she called her CC company and disputed it... /sigh. Now three years later I'm seeing the reaction to this action ><

I have not been banned for this , neither any of my friends but yet I feel pissed off since this reminded me of their attitude when my account got hacked back then. The customer service in SE probably the shittiest of all what I have experienced that relates to customer services.

I agree ... I got to play a THF that doesn't belong to me in Dynamis today, pulling was fun (nice little MPK action too) but it's not the same as just being me.

I recived the LM-17 last month as well. I called SE first thing monday morning and submitted a ban complaint.
I just tried logging in and the LM-17 message had changed to the account canceled message (forgive me as I forget the LM-code it gave). I then called SE and made sure that the ban had been lifted.

For the record, everytime I have had to call SE they have been generaly polite IMO, esp. after having to deal with a 100+ pissed off gamers (myself included).

Got my account back! Just got home after a night out and checked it before bed and the LM-17 turned into LM-08? Had to reactivate the account and update the current billing info. But everything is working now.

I guess Ryan wasn't lying, XD as he said it was in good standing and that it was in the process of being unbanned. He did tell me that they were going to contact me when they do, but I never got anything informing me that my account was back. I'm a bit relieved and a bit annoyed, I hope this doesn't happen again...

Oh yea called on tuesday morning, couldn't call on monday because I was working.

Logged on today and got the reactivated the account screen. So I am not banned anymore. I had to reactivate my content ID also. I first called them Monday about this. So this should give you an idea how long it took for them to give back my account.

Just randomly tried logging back in and have LM-08, I was never called or emailed tho =/ Taking it with a grin of salt I guess.

One thing I did notice.. This time I wasnt charged for reactivating.. last month I was :s

Just got our accounts back (mine and Xzeikx <-- hubby) this morning. I was just checking on my account to see if they'd gotten off their ass to fix it and I got LM-08 reactivation error code, now that we got our chars back... I dont know if i want to play... I dont want to go through this all over again...



Oh yeah didnt get a call or email... nothing. Way to go SE! Lie some more.

I'm glad that a lot of people are starting to get their accounts back, but it makes me a little more worried about mine since I am still getting LM-17.
