How do I dl and play DS games

I'll admit that I've turned mine off on accident before. I picked up my DS and used the power switch at the time when the green light was blinked off

So do you just dl the games onto your flash card thing and they work or do you have to do a bunch of other stuff. I've been told things are easy in the past and then they start saying things like flash your bios and mount an iso and I give up. Drag and drop is preferred

Just drag and drop onto the micro SD card. Put SD card into the DS cart, play.

So for some reason my credit card is getting denied when I try to use it to buy this thing. I have money on it and pay the bills so it seems strange. I tried to call the 24/7 customer service to find out what is up but apparently it closes at midnight, eastern time which is 9 my time. I guess the 24 part is just automated but they should say that, lazy bums.

R4 is outdated and the original development team quit, now you have to use some other karts firmware, which I find a pain and lol no warranty. I sold my R4 for a Cyclos

The R4 isn't bad, but there is no reason at all to suggest it or buy one now when there's better carts to get. The community is well off enough to keep the thing updated, but with new titles you generally have to wait for someone to update it aswell as go through more bullshit like patching the rom to get it working properly.

I just realized I don't know how to use a micro sd card. I don't have a phone that uses them and my computer doesn't have an input for them. Is there a usb to SD converter or something that allows me to attach the SD card to something that plugs in via usb so I can dl games like that?

Most flashcarts come with a USB device that you plug the micro SD directly into to transfer files across. Pretty sure my brothers M3 did and my Cyclo definitely did.

If whatever you get doesn't happen to come with one just get a 'Micro SD Card USB Reader', really cheap check out newegg for some. I got mine with the SD card I bought, that's how you usually get it. I got a 2 GB card with the reader for like under 20 bucks, they are way cheaper now too.

Good, I thought I overlooked something stupid and was going to end up with something that I couldn't use. What size card is sufficient (ie how big are DS games and can I keep 10 or so on a 2gb one)

Really varies by game. You can get a good 30-40 games easily on a 2 GB. There's some puzzle games and stuff that are less than 10 MB, but RPG's can be up to and over 100 MB.

2gb is more than enough then. Do you have any recomendations for what I should play, I want to play hotel dusk and the fenix right games (spelled wrong on purpose) there was some actiony rpg game that I saw once that looked cool.
