anyone else get this POL update screen?

Got this when I logged on tonight, but no one else that I've asked has gotten it. If I click 'next,' it asks for all my information before I log onto POL.. POL ID, passwords.. SE user name and password.. everything.

just wondering if anyone else is getting it and/or if it's legit. Thanks for the help.

I really don't recall PoL updates asking for ID or password. When was the last time you've logged on?

And no, there hasn't been an update today unless you've been away from PoL/game and have a pending one.

The screen itself is legit, it comes up the first time you load POL or if the file where user/pass information is saved was erased somehow. Chances are you're probably ok, but the possibility exists that you picked up a keylogger that erased the file to force you to enter your information in an attempt to capture it to compromise your account.

If you didn't just now install pol+ffxi I'd say something wiped all your settings and info. Run some virus scanners + spyware checkers.

Yeah, I logged in yesterday just fine. Seems like log-in info has been erased somehow.. thanks for the help.

The exact same thing happened to me Sunday night.

Happened to me a few days ago too. I've been using the latest Windower hook (the one that crashes on exit), so I figured something with the crash caused the pw file to corrupt itself. Haven't had any problems with account otherwise.
