Very likely to have been my fault. I typed that out from a list that wouldn't copy and paste right.

They probably meant Flower Mound. And how the hell is Highland Park not on the list but Round Rock and Sugar Land are?

Those cities are not in the DFW area that is why. Anything in the DFW area is fail, well maybe not Keller and Southlake.

"Five Worst Cities in America to Have a Baby

January 24, 2007 by Angela White, J.D., breastfeeding counselor
    Filed under activism

Earlier I looked at Fit Pregnancy’s Best Cities in America to Have a Baby. I think it merits a look at the worst cities in America to see how they can improve. Out of the 50 major metropolitan areas examined, the lowest ranked are:

    50. Detroit, Michigan
    49. Memphis, Tennessee
    48. Las Vegas, Nevada
    47. Dallas, Texas
    46. Fort Worth, Texas

Fit Pregnancy offers a neat feature that allows you to “find your own best city” by rating the importance of nine different factors: affordability, birth risk and health factors, breastfeeding, birthing options, stroller-friendliness, fertility laws and services, hospitals and doctors, safety and child care. When I adjusted breastfeeding to “most important” and all other factors to least important, I got the following breastfeeding report card:

    50. Detroit, Michigan
    49. Memphis, Tennessee
    48. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
    47. Las Vegas, Nevada
    46. Baltimore, Maryland

(In case you were curious, the top cities for breastfeeding success were: San Francisco, San Diego and Oakland, California, followed by Minneapolis, Minnesota and Honolulu, Hawaii).

Detroit, Michigan “tops” both of the lists of the worst cities."

When I asked him why, he replied "Well, my girlfriend and I haven't really been to that side of town. It's actually kind of shady out there, lots of violence and stuff..."

I found it hilarious that my 6'2 200 pound best friend is afraid to drive through the darkie's side of town, yet my 5 foot nothing 125 pound female friend goes to school "across the tracks" at FAMU (a historically black college), and has never once complained about it being unsafe.
Been to Blue and White weekend there once. Never again will I do that. Being the only white dude as far as the eye can see is a bit weird. I will say the food was great and their is nothing like the women out there (the light skinned ones with real hair).

You're stupid. Church Hill hasn't been dangerous since I graduated high school, which was 2001. Church Hill's worst era was the late 80s/early 90s. As of last year it's basically all rich young whiteys from Venable to Chimborazo. I lived in the alphabet district and it still wasn't terrible. It isn't even close to bad til you get to the upper 30s streets. If you're not a complete moron who doesn't know how to keep a low profile when they're carrying tons of cash, you'll be fine.
