One of those "which craft" shall i choose??
Evening all.
I have been saving up for a while and have all the equipment i really need and dont really fancy levelling a new job anytime soon. Im sat on around 3-4m at the minute and wondering what to do with it.
I have SOME crafts levelled:
Fishing 70
Cooking 50
Woodworking 32
Goldsmithing 29
Rest <25
Where would the guys of BG tell me to "invest" my money?

If you fish then I would recommend taking WW to atleast 70-80 to repair your lu shang's. I would also do cooking on a mule since its cheap and oyu can maximize your catches' profit potential.

Well, the idea was to get fishing and cooking to 100. My old man is 90+ fishing and 100 cooking and makes a tidy profit. Just wondering if that is the best way to go?
Im guessing Sushi is the dish of choice?

I am going WW100 and Fishing 100. Since I can do Cooking on a mule. which for me is better on space and AH Slots. You can make all your food and keep it on a mule. However woodworking is more craft as you go. Like Fixing a rod. I wouldn't want to log off the fix a rod. Food i can just DB ro me as i need and send fish as i fished. You can also fix your old mans rod.
i would also advise to level your sub crafts to 60. Makes a big difference when you are skilling up any craft. You have enough bank. i level all of mine to 60 in 3 months starting with 1m. If you plan ahead and know that profit is not only based on a single stage you will do fine. With 3 mil you can get alot done. it is possible to hit 100 WW and subs from where you are with that amount. if you recycle gil directly to you craft.

Thanks for that feary!
I was thinking the same, although that is exactly what my dad has done, got wood to 95+ and also fishing. His mule is 99+3 Cooking.
Just didnt want to do everything that he can, he is also thinking about quitting so i might have his character at my disposal anyway.

I have a few friends that make a nice profit off Fishing + Alc (because it is rather cheap) on their main and made cooking mules like others are suggesting. All the other crafts require a lot of gil put in, so it takes a while till you can recoup what ya spent, unless you try the old fashion farm or HELM you mats.

if you want ebisu, do WW.
If you want easy money and are going to finish fishing do Cooking
if you want slow/steady profit give up on them all and do Alchemy
if you want to kill yourself, do gold
(personal experiences only!)

Crafting is dead.
Sath, back me up.
