Tool is like Radiohead minus listenable things like Creep and Fake Plastic Trees.

You no longer exist to me.
listen to AEnima (the title track of the album of the same name)
I'll be honest, that's their only song I've ever heard, I'm mostly trolling based on my impressions. Radiohead is bad, though.
tool sucks
i have posted on this subject before
that is a bizarre only song to have heard lol
Sober, AEnima, Schism, Parabol/Parabola, The Patient, Third Eye (Live - Off of Salival), Prison Sex, Jambi, The Pot, etc etc.
I think that's a commentary on my stomach more than anything else.
This shit sucks. The band tries to sound sophisticated and philosophical, but they just come off as pseudo-intellectual retards who read too much and need to shut the fuck up, like every other emo stoner band.
What's worse is the fans, though. They act like Tool is some fucking mana from the heavens when it's really just a bunch of bullshit. There is no meaning to the lyrics; Maynard is just a baked retard who's usually too high on acid to even know he's singing.
poison ratt and white snake did more for metal than metallica ever will, the only album that is even remotely listenable is the black album and we all know how metallica fans feel about that
it's like they enjoy it being terrible
You Tool fans are so retarded. You over-analyze every last lyric or detail about the band ad absurdum, and think Tool members are Gods and Maynard is an alien that will lead them to salvation. in reality most of you are whiny angsty teenagers closely related to Emo kids, but are far more retarded, because unlike emo kids, you think you are actually intelligent for listening to Tool, whilst emo kids at least admit they're a bunch of fucktards.
Tool needs to come out with a new CD and stop remaking their older ones.
they should make a free record
because in the case of tool, that shit ain't worth buying
in all seriousness though, tool has peaked
AEnima, in my opinion is quite possibly the most solid album, ever, and definitely in terms of a band's progression, from 1st to 2nd to 3rd album, they went from being hicks to well.. Bill Hicks? lol...
anyway, yeah what they've read is very apparent by the lyrics and art, and yeah those concepts tend to draw people looking for answers -- you can't blame the band if people elevate them on some bizarre pedestal
I have caused something terrible.
Won't find a more mind-blowing live performance, sorry folks.
Unless you take some Ecstasy and go to a NIN concert.
I was sincerely surprised the first time I heard someone say they not only didn't like tool but said they were awful
that's like saying epiphanies are boring, shit just didn't make sense to me
and nin and tool are the only concerts I don't miss
