    It was decent, I liked the graphics and costumes. Story was kinda meh.
    Spoiler: show
    I thought the ending when she was telling everybody off and when she started dancing was stupid.

    and why in the hell after another trip to wonderland did she all of a sudden become a fucking business genious? I didnt get the whole part about becoming an aprentice and deciding to trade with china part

    In the scenes outside of wonderland they showed Alice to be more of a free spirit think outside the box type person like her father rather then the boring stuffy people she was forced to be around. She didn't become a business genious at the end, she acted like her father and could see potential in things others couldn't. He gladly brought her on as an apprentice to gain some of her fathers type of insight.

    I went somehow expecting Alice in wonderland with the queen of hearts and her missing tarts and i got a shitty amalgamate of both books. It felt like a wasted opportunity for a sequel\prequel. both books were rich enough that there should have been more than enough to make 2 movies that stayed true to the books.

    I wish they would make a Rated R, real dark and creepy version of Alice in Wonderland.

    I saw it tonight, and while I was entertained, I wouldn't see it again and probably wouldn't recommend it to someone who was on the fence. To be honest, I felt more about...

    Spoiler: show
    The flashback to the actual Alice in Wonderland

    Than I did about this...retelling. Knowing it was based on both books did more to curb my disappointment though. The story was pretty average, but it was acted well enough when the main cast got into it and the designs and look of the overall thing were beautiful.

    Spoiler: show
    The end battle was so goddamn forced, when I finally managed to swallow Alice fighting the Jabberwocky and started to enjoy it a little bit, they did this whole large gimmicky war thing that made me roll my eyes and took all the fun out of it.

    Depp's dance near the end seemed really out of place... totally different tone than the rest of the movie & weird. IMO.

    Good movie overall, kinda want to see it in 3D now that I've seen it in 2D.

    My initial thought. It was the only thing that really bugged me though it was hella off

    It wasn't supposed to be a sequel, nor stay true to the books. Just Timmy's edition of it.

    I loved this movie so much in so many ways, and I want to see it again and again but am just going to wait til it's out on video because I don't want to pay $15 to keep seeing it haha. I just loved the entire feel of everything in Tim Burton Wonderland, I loved the costumes, the effects, the two entirely different castles, the music, the trees, it was just all so artistically well done and I loved it. I loved how all the Queen of Hearts people had heart costumes and EVERYTHING was a heart, down the to the axe that was to cut of Hatter's head to the way the monkeys tails were held up. It was so brilliant to me.

    The bit at the end with the dance was kind of weird, but again they had been building up to it for quite some time and it was pretty funny I thought. I thought that Johnny Depp was great in this but it was kind of hard to understand him sometimes. All of the actors in fact were so well casted I thought, especially baby Alice who was so adorable. And the mouse was so cute too Chessur was my favorite though of course.

    But yeah, loved it. I had read the script many months ago so I knew exactly what was coming and just seeing how they brought it all to life was absolutely amazing to me. I hope Tim Burton does other Disney remakes, like Snow White or Little Mermaid or Beauty and the Beast, it would be crazy awesome.

    Saw the movie today, absolutely loved the characters. I eventually stopped caring about the crappy story and genuinely just wanted to see the interaction between the cast.

    idk about the Little Mermaid... Beauty and the Beast maybe but definitely would love to see his rendition of Snow White.

    Exfuckingxactly. Also I liked that line from the Mad Hatter:

    "You used to be much more muchier. You've lost your muchness."

    This guy in the theater I was at fell asleep for half the movie. Why the fuck do you pay $15 dollars to see a movie and then fall asleep during it. It didn't effect me at all, he wasn't snoring or anything, but it just bothered me so much.

    I slept through Avatar 3d in it's entirety lol. I had been drinking the night before and most of that day so it wasn't very surprising.

    All this talk about falling asleep during the dragon part doesn't surprise me. Personally I found it the least interesting bit of the movie. Even though it
    Spoiler: show

    was the whole point of the movie.

    5 internets to anyone who can figure out exactly what the Hatter is saying during this outburst:

    http://www.datazap.net/sites/Lbelle/...edteaparty.wav

    Trying to make a typography project with it, but without the exact quote I might have to choose something else.

    Hatter: Well, the entire world is falling to ruin and poor Chessur’s off his tea…
    Chessur: What happened that day was not my fault.
    Hare: Oh dear…
    Hatter: You were out and then to save your own skin, (think this is right...) you gutless, Scottish, pilgrim (?) shukm juggling, slurking urpal,(this part is right, these words are in the actual script) barlemot at bruhnum (this is the bit giving me the most trouble, can't for the life of me figure it out, and google is not being helpful. The movie doesn't follow the script at all either, so I can't find it in there either.)

    Anyone know what he's saying?

    That's cause it's the first draft of the script. You want the final screenplay. Anyways every script I found and dl'd was the same as yours. The next best thing to a script are the subtitles for a movie. All the ones I dl'd were the same here you go:

    303
    00:32:22,951 --> 00:32:27,526
    All this talk of blood and slaying has
    put me off my tea

    304
    00:32:29,628 --> 00:32:34,852
    The entire world is falling to ruin and
    poor Chester is off his tea.

    305
    00:32:34,853 --> 00:32:39,853
    What happened that day was not... my fault

    306
    00:32:41,420 --> 00:32:42,365
    Oh, dear

    307
    00:32:42,766 --> 00:32:45,730
    Your were out and then
    to save your own skin

    308
    00:32:45,731 --> 00:32:51,992
    You gutless Scottisch pelgrim juggling
    slurking urpal slackush scrum Barlemot

    309
    00:32:51,993 --> 00:32:53,038
    Hatter!

    I haven't listened to your .wav file so I'm not sure that's 100% but most of it was in the script glossary just needed to add Barlemot.

    Also

    lol @ that Political Ad video about you XD

    This isn't right, he says something after "berlemot" and the words are mixed around. I found those thai translation sites as well and they did not have an answer to my question.
