I'll take the secret to AV as restitution.

Oh god... not this crap again.
oh lord jesus square what have you done!?
read most of the pdf of the case here. Sounds like this idiot doesn't understand the concept of if you don't pay your bills your shit gets turned off. Many companies also tack on interest charges if your payment remains unpaid. don't see wtf this idiot's problem is. plus last i checked to start a class action suit there has to be several plantiff's involved all suing over the same issue not just one person. only name i saw in there as trying to start the class action suit is leong. someone correct me if i'm wrong here but i think i'm right on this one.
also taking business law atm lmfao
What? I heard about this but.. weren't people getting their money back? >_>;;; Guess not lol.
This happened to me and my gf. We called them and they gave us bullshit so we just said fuck it.
Hahaha.
Now that I think about it, I may have been charged more than I should have been on my account.... going to have to look into that in the morning.
this is what happens when idiots don't read the game's terms and conditions and have too much money to waste on lawyer fees.
I read the file. Without merit IMO.
Person claims that "we" did not know:
1) we had to pay fees to play online (it says that right on the box in 3 places)
2) we were not allowed to play if we had paid late (whoa!!)
3) we had restrictions in our online play in the game (says that on the box and in the TOS)
4) we had penalties and interest for paying late. (I never saw any interest. Maybe the penalty was we couldn't play?)
5) account data would not be accessible if the monthly fees were not paid. (sounds like #2, but they say this as well.)
This is more or less even stupider than the "McDonalds made me fat" lawsuits that are thrown out of court.
does this have to do w/the LM-17 rejected card services? if so, i can see their POV. that is some BS right there.![]()
Stupider cases have been won. The woman who sued McDonalds cause her coffee was hot and she spilled it on herself.
I wonder who will lead the case for SE?!

Absolute Virtue Attorney at law perhaps?
stupid cases won, just cases lost.
this is a just case i believe, theres no point in getting stuck up the ass with SE's appendage and being told to enjoy it or quit
I've been double-charged before for seemingly nothing, but fuck calling SE customer support over $13. I'd rather slam my head against the wall until I forgot about it, I'd have the same headache as the end result.
Also the "Absolute Virtue Attorney at law" thing had me rolling. Well played.
The only thing I find questionable on SE's part is the $19.95 reactivation charge. If I suspended and/or had payment stopped due to Credit Card closure, what gives SE the right to charge me a fee of $19.95 after I already paid the price of software and am paying outstanding monthly fee?
Also, on more than 1 occasion I had my mules and my main charged twice and not because they didn't charge the month before. Just a double charge.
In terms of the case; the only redeeming part of it would be proper exhibits presented to the court, which tbh I can't think of any. Also I'm curious as to who is taking part in this lawsuit aside from leading plaintiff and what sort of compensations everyone will receive if the case will be won.
P.S. For some reason I thought of angelkitty... ^___________________^
