Yes, there are a lot of symbolism in washington D.C, and United States in general. A lot of people seem to think it occult, or something evil, which I think is just silly.

Purpose of symbols is to carry meaning, and all of those symbols that look freemasonry have their meanings come from Religion or mathematics. Sometimes Christian, sometimes pagan.

Washington D.C in my opinion, is like a huge essay from our country's founding fathers, that very few people know how to read.

Pretty much. Many of the founding fathers were masons (you can see George Washington wearing that waist-bib thing that I forget the name of in a few paintings of him, for example).

There was nothing evil about the Masons. They were comprised of many of the smarter minds of the time, so it's no coincidence that many of the founding fathers, scientists, and other highly ranked intelligent people so happened to be Masons as well.

Olympiad is a ancient greek 4 year time measurement based on astrology, which is represented by the pentagram or the planet venus, and it's proportional movement through the constellation of fixed stars in the zodiac. It's a rotation of 1,460 days.
Which is how you measure the morning star or the evening star in the sky.

So every 1,460 days Venus becomes the morning star if it was the evening star at the beginning of the four years, and it takes 8 years for a complete cycle.

Pentagon can represent the same movement, but not whether Venus is a morning or an evening star, which results in a pentagon being a 8 year time measurement in respect to the zodiac constellations.

It is funny that this thread just popped up because they just premiered a new show on Discovery channel last night about the conspiracy theories surrounding symbols in the USA. They were talking about the Washington monument and the layout of DC and Mt. Rushmore and all sorts of other interesting stuff.

Symbols in America or something like that. It is a brand new show that premiered last night. It is specifically about the symbolism in America. It went over all the parts of the great seal like what the eye means and the half built pyramid and the eagle and shield and stuff like that.
