Haha yep, every single one of Video Copilot's is in there, Andrew Kramer is awesome. I love his style of tutorials. Mixing a bit of comedy in there with really good info. Makes me hot! >.>
Yeah, it's a weird one. It basically started because I had a lot of storage space, and already had most of the music/films I knew I'd want to watch again. Plus I was sick and tired of having to search around the net again to find that one tutorial which was useful, so I'd just start backing the useful ones up. Then (as it turns out) I realised there was a lot of useful tutorials out there, so I just carried on saving them as I went along, then before you know it, you look at this mess of files and folders and say "Wow, what the hell?"
Which strangely, has fed my second obsession, which is trying to keep files and folders well ordered and structured.
Not really but whos Tori Amos?
Shoes and handbags, at 1 point i had 2 large moving boxes full of shoes and heels
I have tons of dice, of all sizes, shapes, and colors. Like, 200.
I play tabletop games on occasion, but still >.>
I used to be obsessed with My Little Pony, and various cartoon characters, and Scrooge McDuck especially (why? I have no idea, might have been the accent) and collected everything I could get my hands on for those shows, but grew out of all that by 5th grade. I've always had obsessive tendencies though, and I used to obsessively collect japanese music in mp3 format, but at this time I'm not collecting anything. I've weaned myself off most of the urge to spend all my time devoted to one thing that won't even help me, thankfully. Not that all obsessions are bad or detrimental (I see a lot of good ones in this thread anyway, zelda guy is going to make so much money someday), but I enjoy being able to flit from one thing to the next when I want, I find XD
I'm obsessed with North Korean documentaries, making meticulous lists, huge salads, and chocolate. I keep this huge notebook of every video game I own, have played, or plan to buy/play. I collect soaps too, I like sandalwood a lot D:
Also, sometimes I have trouble pooping unless I look at architectural diagrams >_>

-I still have plenty of Yu-gi-oh cards from when I was 16-17
-And I still enjoy the Pokemon games.![]()
Internet Memes and commercials.
BG and the Internet in general.
Useless trivia. I can, and have on many occasions at boring desk jobs, spent hours randomly surfing Wikipedia and TVtropes.org to discover some amusing minutia that will, in all likelihood, never be of any use to me or anyone else. No wonder I really enjoyed by BA in History and Political Science.
Although I really don't consider myself obsessed about anything. I don't collect stuff, mostly because I don't have enough disposable income I'm not spending on my going out or my girlfriend. If I had money, I would probably buy lots of books.
Anime.
If I watch an anime series that I enjoy, I like to collect its manga and dvds until i have the complete set
something about owning things I have an interest in makes me feel satisfied
I'm addicted to Jordans, not just any kind, only white, blue or black colored ones.Shoes and handbags, at 1 point i had 2 large moving boxes full of shoes and heels
I have a (small) collection of fat stuffed animals. I love them, but they're kind of hard to come across and most are sort of expensivehttp://photos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/photos-...43305_9930.jpg
Late 70s to late 80s TV shows.
Soap, Fall Guy, Perfect Strangers, you name it and I've probably watched the complete series, usually multiple times.
It's amusing to toss out a William Conrad or McGillis family reference and watch people try to figure out who they are.
Spoiler: show
this is part of my boyfriends collection/obsession. rest assured he's purchased more shit since this pic was taken
Creative Process; Writing, cooking, crafting things like woodworking, I even learned how to weld, but I never learned to use an Arc Welder. There's like an obsessive high with completing something, showing it off, giving it away, ingraining your name into the process.
I love to cook and even talk about cooking food with, and for other people. I took 2 years of culinary course training when I was a teenager, because I lived alone while my dad was off working and had to do everything for myself a lot, so it stuck.
I'm also obsessed with writing heavily influenced from designing MUDs and playing D&D over IRC with other people[which was a lot more akin to novelist writing in the group I'd found then playing House or D&D].
I kind of have worked for a balanced obsession with realizing I just like stuff I can show off a little, or get out of my head into something actual if money is permitting.
