Oh well, it's official now ;/ Besides his amazing voice the guy had some sick moves. The video "Smooth Criminal" is as close to perfection a music video can get, although it wasn't as ground breaking as "Thriller."

edit: If you think about it, each subsequent year will be 'worse' then the previous one, as modern medicine keeps people alive longer and longer celebrities will inevitably do shit for longer making them dearer and dearer to us. When you combine that with how easy it is with more technology to get famous, its simply inevitable that more famous ppl will die yearly.
