ITT: Lee's gay semantics so he doesn't have to resort to defending his unjustifiable anti-gay position
Well obviously you guys have never read the bible or never heard of Noah's Ark (in detail). Noah was told by God to build the ark and take 2 of everything etc. One of the reasons behind the flood that eventually came, was because of all the sins people were committing (incest, adultery, homosexuality, murder). So God basically wiped out everyone that wasn't on the Ark. (This could also be an explanation to what happened to the Dinosaurs, maybe God just didn't agree with them being around anymore either). Anyways, even God doesn't agree with homosexuality.
There's a tale of two people getting turned to stone in the bible because of their orientation (cant remember the story oh well). It's a sin, and the people who practice homosexuality are mentally ill PERIOD. and no one can tell me nothing. But as the old song by the Grace Thrillers says, "No more water, but fire next time," also known as Armageddon (after the Rapture and post-Tribulation).
since when is "outward" a condition for being against something? you seem to be missing meaning here- doublespeak refers to making two contradictory statements, which is obvious in the quoted example and your smoker rendition of it.
An honest statement would be either one of the pair alone. No hidden agenda that way; no attempt at manufacturing an acceptable facade for the true intentions.
in this case they are obviously outward with being against it anyway, so moot point on your end.
When I saw the clip, the first thing that jumped into my head was the scene from the Boondocks where uncle Ruckus tries to "beat the nigga" out of their neighbor (a.k.a. perform an exorcism to remove the black demon inside of him). Replace black with homosexual and it's basically the same thing (except for the obvious fact there's not actually a demon in this poor gay man).
"The nigga will lie! The nigga will make excuses! He will use words he don't really know! If he gets really desperate he may even start to rap or dance!"
YouTube - how to perform an exorcism(beating)
Also, I'm not surprised that someone would actually attempt to do this... I am surprised, though, that someone would actually think it's a good idea to tape it and show it off as if it's something the general public would approve of. Some people are very out of touch with general society.
Good one, Vajra. Noah's fictitious ark... Excellent point.
What exactly is this "gay lifestyle"?
I really don't get what they mean by it. I wouldn't say that my lifestyle is any different than an average person's, straight or gay, or whatever else.
What the fuck is this shit? I didn't even know we had wingnuts in CT. And Bridgeport isn't even the conservative part of the state >.>
It's super, thanks for asking!

Heh you obviously don't live here. Bridgeport, where the video was taken, and New Haven i'd say are a good 75%+ black and Waterbury a good 60-75% mexican (damn you ppl *shakes fist*). Hartford....i just stay away from that place, but ya theres alot less "white" people here in CT then you think.
Dating people of the same sex, don't be purposefully difficult you know what it means.
Sade, those are larger areas of Connecticut, and the ratios still aren't even close to how you're reporting them. You have your racist goggles on, you obviously see a few minorities and it scares you to the point of purporting that they overwhelmingly make up the population somewhere. I lived in a small town in CT called New Fairfield, we could count the number of black people in the entire town on one hand. There were 9. Me, my mother, brother, sister, my friend Ian, his brother, sister, mother and father.
I think the real question here is is it possible to exorcise half of a gay demon out of a lesbian so that they'd be up for a threesome.
My number was for the state as a whole, and it is quite accurate. I don't think that the vast majority of posters have a clue about Bridgeport's specific demographics. Thanks for clearing that up though, it does do quite a bit to explain why there was confusion in the first place.
This is right about the time I post something snide about religion, but honestly, they did it for me. What the hell can I add to a gay exorcism that's going to further denigrate these people and their antisocial beliefs?
Oh, shit. They're on to me. They're trying to shut me up by making my commentary on them obsolete! Tricky fuckers. Gotta think of something.
Uh...Jesus is a queer. That is all.
a+ comment would read again
yeah, fuck these people. I feel sorry for that poor boy, he has barely any chance at a normal life now... pretty sure that shit scars you forever. and when the desires don't go away (which they won't), he'll believe that a "demon" is still in him. that's gotta be a scary way to live.
Julian asked a legitimate question. Dating people of the same sex isn't a lifestyle any more than dating people of the opposite sex is. Proclaiming that there's a "gay lifestyle" assumes that all gay people are the same and have no individuality. It's a buzzword Christians use to dehumanize queer people. You'd be wise not to perpetuate that.
eh you are reaching. It is a stereotype yes. But at the same time it's no worse than the christian lifestyle or rich lifestyle everyone is so quick to attribute to people based on the same criteria. While not all gays are promiscuous, it's a pretty well known fact gays have a higher average of sexual partners. That's where the stereotype comes from.
