xfire + FFXI - what's going on here

whenever I run xfire + ffxi, xfire being to slowly consume all of my ram until it runs out of ram to eat. Doesn't do this with any other game I've played, just ffxi. I am using windower also.

Anyone else experience this? Or have a solution?

i had the same problem and then i read this

You can not play the game with XFire either, it is known to cause problems.

so i stopped.

Xfire hasn't ever been able to even see that FFXI is running if it's been running via Windower for me.
