Backseat modding never gets dealt with anywhere.
Unless its someone from Spam.
Fuck that, you caught mod sass. Nobody gave a fuck about backseat modding.
Aurik cares.
Keep on keepin' on Tomiko. Keep talking about shit you don't know about.
And what the fuck.. I'm too good because I'm a mod now? What? I never liked Spam in the first place. My cake and I have ALWAYS been too good for you.. not just because of that. I thought you were cool Tomiko. =[
damn, I guess we know why people who are really only good at one thing need to stick to that
hang up those mod shoes babe, cause you sound retarded
Quick searches:
Correction has 41 posts containing the word "spam" in General.
Mizango has 43 posts containing the word "Darwinism" in General.
Mizango has been banned. Correction has not (unless I missed it which I doubt).
Clearly there's no favouritism between General and Spam.
Clearly you forgot I post in spam. You know, kinda like you used to.
Btw, still waiting for a serious reply to the use of the "Faggot" avatar.
Because Correction is the only non-spam poster that people should focus on that mention 'spam' and backseat mod. Right. I forgot about that.
And what? I never posted in spam that much. I popped up here and there.
I have no serious reply for the use of the "faggot" avatar because I honestly don't know.
Never said he was the only one. He's just one of the main ones that brings it up every time someone posts a short reply, regardless of who posts it.
I just think its a bitch move to let posters like him off easy when Miz got banned for essentially the same thing (spam; even though Darwinism is a valid reply in some threads) which wasn't even a rule til he got banned. Infractions should be dealt with the same regardless of where the poster primarily posts.
Actually, he used Darwinism like RIGHT AFTER it became a bannable offense. I didn't like the banning because I find Mizango pretty fucking funny, but eh. What can you do? Also, no one gets off easy, but like I said, you can pretend you know what goes on. :/ I agree though. I hope mentioning spam in general = infraction/ban sometime in the future.
This isn't an attack on anything in particular, but Akiyama, do you have to agree to never badmouth fucktarded rules when you're made a mod?
Mods have stated that the mod sass rule is shitty already, I don't think Aki would disagree (nor with that case of it).
Then I stand corrected on the Darwinism issue.
I'm sure I don't know everything that goes on but it really seems like whenever something goes wrong Spam is the first one to blame.
Tbh, I hope they do add that rule or just make backseat modding bannable. Knowing it would get me banned would keep me from doing it and would get rid of the retards who only post that shit in threads.
I think it's just a case of the morons who blame spam for everything are just the most vocal. I think it's stupid the admins/mods have yet to do anything about it though. It's just as out as hand as the darwinism posts was.
to be honest, i'm getting really tired of the whole SPAM INVADING GENERAL, BANHAMMER THEM!!!!!1 attitude. are people really suggesting that users who post here lose the right to participate in conversations elsewhere on BG without having to deal with stupid off-topic remarks? seriously, that's just trolling people for their attitude/behavior/posts made elsewhere -- wasn't someone (howard?) recently handed an infraction for doing that sort of thing to vajra? that's what i thought.
if they find a joke in poor taste, they have the option to report it to a mod and have it dealt with. i don't see why it's necessary for general posters to launch into diatribes about the Moste Foule ande Evile Nature of Spam Forum Denizens™ every time someone makes a comment that is not well received. it's just trolling. i hope people can take off their IHATEDASPAM goggles and recognize those posts for what they actually are. until that happens, there will continue to be tension over this issue.
also, didn't i just point out a couple of weeks ago or less that mod sass was a stupid and useless rule? wasn't that immediately followed up by a flock of mods who said it never gets put into effect, they don't agree with it, etc etc? hmm.
