Graphics card likely broken

Sorry if that img is huge or shows nothing at all. I tried to print screen something to show what is going on but I can't really tell if print screen picked it up since it's hard to see what I'm doing here.

I was just playing a game and then the graphics got really strange, green and pink lines in pattern all over the screen. I turned off the computer for a few mins and turned it back on thinking it could be the card overheating or something and the graphics were fine for ~1 min and then this returned. Restarts after that have the graphics screwed from the start so it seems like the computer being off for a while did something ok for a short time. System restore did nothing.

I have a radeon 9800 pro card in an equally old computer if that helps.

This is called artifacting, and it's what happens when a card is overheating/dying. Open up your PC and make sure that the fan on the card is free of dust and is spinning like it's supposed to. Try taking out the video card and reseating it and see if that helps. If you do all that and it still comes up artifacting, the card is likely dying and you should think about replacing it.

who makes your card? might... might be a bios problem if its a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 512MB DDR5.
