Sorry if that img is huge or shows nothing at all. I tried to print screen something to show what is going on but I can't really tell if print screen picked it up since it's hard to see what I'm doing here.

I was just playing a game and then the graphics got really strange, green and pink lines in pattern all over the screen. I turned off the computer for a few mins and turned it back on thinking it could be the card overheating or something and the graphics were fine for ~1 min and then this returned. Restarts after that have the graphics screwed from the start so it seems like the computer being off for a while did something ok for a short time. System restore did nothing.

I have a radeon 9800 pro card in an equally old computer if that helps.

I don't know what "leaky capacitor" means, but when something similar happened to me and I took out the video card.

One of the small cells/batteries/whatever the fuck(capacitors!), on the video card had apparently spit a battery acid like substance onto itself out the top, it was puffed up and rusted over/decayed but it was so tiny I didn't notice, and the card must have been running like that for a week at least.

Happened to me like above when my old 8800 card, one of the capacitors split open, well I say one, more like about 4 or 5 of them. Usually from overheating, if you have chip set graphics, take your card out and use those to see if it really is the card, if not then it will probably be the mobo.
