I personally wouldnt take chances with your genitalia that way. There was a girl in high school that got "new" pubic hair dye for this very reason and ended up with a god awful vag infection and missed an entire quarter due to whatever was going on with her vag.

Use cool aid dye. Disclaimers, I never tried it but it smells nice .
There is also an array of temp hair dyes you might consider but most sex accessories come with "For novelty use only" info on them so if you have a finicky vag you might want to consider color matching with clitoral hood jewelry or body paints instead.
