Maybe I just suck at detecting sarcasm because it's 5:00am, but choosing an Avalon Breastplate over Merman's Earring/Rings and Lamian Kaman+1 (among other things) is just wrong for a MDT set.

Also, that's an ACP Augmented CHR Ring with Acc+5, Enmity-2, Pet: Acc+3/RAcc+3. The torque is a healing torque.

... and yet I think I would still go after something that's a little harder to obtain via gil and may not be up for sale where as the others are more commonly up for sale.

yes he could have more mdt - overall from the rest of the equips and mdb+ but with items that are more common and easly obtained, I think I too would have gone after the body myself only because gil is so easy to get that the rest of the items are on AH or in rolanmart more commonly then that.

Well to be open on that even if he had DD jobs to support that solid gear, If I ended up getting an Excaliber and an Aegis, I would seriously have dropped my Rajas for a Svatta. I've always looked at the idea that most people *and I use this term loosly* who uprgade a relic let alone even two for one job would invest in the best gear for any situation for that job.

We're on the same page with Ixion tho. If he was going to sit there and try to eat TP moves, then a Shadow Ring at least would be a good idea for Wrath of Zeus.
