well if your only mage job is brd then a.body is fantastic idle piece. Well, because lets face it, lolmardukbody. I would rather have a 20% chance of getting a.body 1-2times a month off Odin then waste gil on Jubbah.

What exactly is wrong with marduk? aside the price tag, which won't really change since it uses the same ingots as the other body peices. i assume you speak on the price tag.

I am about to leave and see this.

Was cool and all with the smn till I saw the back. That linkshell, I know, one my players is in that linkshell and they are not end game or anything, still the sch made me mad. No gear swaps or anything. I did not have blinkmenot up and iI did not lose that window even when he was casting.

edit: I should say I was not pissed at the smn, he was resting in that set. ~_~;

edit2: lol I change windows to see the guy DDing a pot in that set. - dex is god like for a staff!

Those objects are something I probably will never be able to achieve in my gimp FFXI life and with my newbie shell...maybe if I joined FFXI few years earlier and lucky enough to join a strong shell.

That line of thinking places you in a seemingly inescapable trap. Though it could also be you subconsciously being lazy.

New endgame shells are always made..with less harsh requirements to join(needing 5+ 75 jobs as a req. for the most part kinda stops people who haven't been playing a long time).

Dynamis is the first step towards getting better gear, and those usually only require you to be at least 70(65 to enter, but 65 is gimp). You might need ZM/coP done or whatever, but nothing that seems like it'd take an eternity to achieve. It's not too late for the casual FFXI players..you just gotta do some research and actually LOOK for shells that are accepting people on whatever terms is reasonable to you.
