Its not a Bonaza prize, its was TDG's first and i think only Dring. He got it and then went to most camps on SMN, or NIN in very uh questionable gear pretty much ever since.

You are getting 2 different blms mixed up. I am the vermy blm, with 4 int rings, not 2, and I was using phantom tathlum. The only thing I justify with 60 cap BCNM gear is why I don't SIDEGRADE to equal int gear on the back/fingers to save myself 140k (which won't buy any upgrades anyways). And we were doing achamoth not nidhogg.

Just stop. If you gain even 1k while retaining the same stats, it's not a fucking sidegrade. It's bad enough you're a fucking Galka BLM, but then you're one trying to justify Genius rings and a Black Cape +1 at 75. Rainbow cape's MP+9 is reason alone to stop being so fucking thick and upgrade your gear.
