That's still nitpicking. A PCC Isn't going to be a bigass difference with +20 Accuracy with the relic he has so he's going with a Chiv Chain for Store TP and STR. The Ace's Helm tho. Who the fuck still pays people for that shit? And even then Askar is better then Ace's helm in most cases for a Relic DRG since the weapon has 20 accuracy on it. He's already at the cap with the relic so STR and DEX in a head slot would be better then Ace's helm for most situations.

If he's got an Einherjar Shell and a good Dynamis shell then I'm sure as hell he can go camp it like I did. Iota Ring is perfectly fine as well. Mantle is eh at best but that's still nitpicking. We've had relic users posted before with a huge amount of shit gear but this guy doesn't deserved to be posted here seeing as what he has on is perfectly acceptable.

People seem to have this perfect image of relic holders. They have to have to the perfect gear combinations, and be the best of the best. Some people can't accept "this" gear, even if it's the same as "that" gear that looks prettier or has a whitebox around it, it has to be what they want it to be or it's gimp.

DRG looks fine to me.

ANd just for the record, I'm not defending all relic holders. Some really are just straight up "WTF?!", but that DRG isn't one of them. And besides, town pic, etc.

AFv2+1 hands? Idk, maybe he thinks the AGI+4 will not make Geirskogul suck.. but it still does.

Ares's Cuirass on DRGs annoys me. Very rarely do you need the autorefresh, and the Store TP from Askar or Aurum is enough to reduce your combat rounds to 100TP by 1, as /SAM and as /mage. 1 combat round faster is going to trump any single digit % damage gain from the added ATK + STR during TP. Can always swap into Ares's during WS.

There's stuff to nitpick on for this relic DRG, but it wasn't the stuff that's highlighted.

Chivalrous Chain is perfectly fine; PCC is a waste of gil for little accuracy gain better spent elsewhere like.. say, Dusk Gloves. And if that DRG *was* hurting for ACC for say, higher levelled/evasive HNM, then they've got no business using Ares's Cuirass either.

He's sitting in town. For all you know he has Dusk gloves +1 and just doesn't want to run around in them. Probably just showing off Ares body as well, since at least in my opinion Askar and Aurum look like shit to sit around town in.

7-8mil for ace helm as someone said? good luck finding that. If i could find someone to sell me a ace helm for 6mil-7mil Id be all over it.

There really is a reason people get mad at town pics and this just shows why. You never know the reason for the gear. The person could of been in a capped zone before just throwing on random gear that will do something. Person could be showing off rare/ex shit. From time to time I just put on random crap for full rare/ex in town.

My blm in town has a mix of random af+1 and relic/big gil items that do not fit in any set with each other. Town is town get over it.

edit: I still do not get how I was not posted like 2 weeks back ~_~ I did duo despot in full fishing gear lol. I try and try will see maybe someday. its all auged tho with +mp gear so its ok for my blm.

turban is only situationally better than askar you won't always have double march + haste. For birds I kinda prefer march/minuet/chaos/sam or something along that line. Then again rhea goes out and solo's birds for chain 5+ as drg/mage but i'm sure you know more than him.
