You have that backwards... Askar is only situationally better than Turban, and those situations are about as thin and narrow as Homam head.

Then again rhea goes out and solo's birds for chain 5+ as drg/mage but i'm sure you know more than him.

I'm sure anybody who can solo birds for chain 5+ has good enough gear to be very close to or at capped accuracy... go Turban.

For birds I kinda prefer march/minuet/chaos/sam or something along that line.

lol, 4dex isn't going to do shit over 7 accuracy for one, and for two Turban>Askar. The Iota Ring is fine, C.Chain is questionable etc etc etc.

I was just adding the DEX since it was there seeing as 4 DEX can still add to hit crit %. It's a minor upgrade at best. You're ignoring that a Gungnir as with all two-handed relics have 20 accuracy already. He should be at cap or damn near close to where an Ace's Helm would be a waste. Turban is best for most jobs without a relic but for two-handers who have the option of Ace's or Askar then it just comes down to what food you eat + how well your other gearslots are used & of course what mobs you're fighting.

Chiv Chain like Rhealana said is perfectly fine for that DRG seeing as more StoreTP and STR is fine for a DRG since he has that relic. Dusk gloves tho I'd get over relic hands.

People seem to have this perfect image of relic holders. They have to have to the perfect gear combinations, and be the best of the best. Some people can't accept "this" gear, even if it's the same as "that" gear that looks prettier or has a whitebox around it, it has to be what they want it to be or it's gimp.

DRG looks fine to me.

ANd just for the record, I'm not defending all relic holders. Some really are just straight up "WTF?!", but that DRG isn't one of them. And besides, town pic, etc.

Point still stands. 1)Town gear & 2) Doesn't deserve to be here seeing as we all have seen relic holders and even a few Drings that have been more then questionable. I know it's hard to breath with your head stuffed so far up your ass but try and come out once in awhile for some air ok?
