World Transfer Question

Now the restrictions on transfer service are stated as:

The World Transfer service can be used any number of times and, while there are no restrictions regarding the number of times each character can be transferred, you may not use this service under the following conditions:
- 90 days have not passed since the date of the previous World Transfer.
- 90 days have not passed since the first acquisition of a FINAL FANTASY XI Content ID.

Here's my question. I have 2 seperate accounts. I want to go to another server to pick up an item and bring it back. I have 2 content id's on each account that are well over 90 days old. Can i do this?

1. Delete mule character from one account. (will call this account #1)
2. Create new character on account #1 on server i want to buy item from.
3. Put gil on mule for acct. #2 and transfer mule over to other server.
4. Buy item, give it to mule on account #1.
5. T/f newly created character on acct. #1 back to my original server with item.

The language makes it seem that this is possible. "90 days passed since acquisition of content ID" not creation of character. Does anyone have personal experience with this? I have already created the character on the new server. Is there anyway for me to determine from the world transfer screen if the character is eligible before actually completing the world transfer?

In order to create a new character you have to purchase a new content ID on that specific account so a new character is a content ID. Doesn't look like you'd be able to do it with that method unless you transfer your existing mule (that's 90 days or older) to that server but you'd still have to wait to transfer back.

Maybe i wasnt clear. The newly created character was done on a content id that is well over 90 days old.

Oh that shouldn't be an issue then. Seems possible as long as the content IDs themselves are old enough. Some people delete their IDs when they make new characters, which is stupid, but still it's done. -_-;

1) Make mule on the server you're buying from.
2) Give gil to mule on your server.
3) Tansfer mule on your server with gil.
4) Buy item
5) Give item to the mule you made on the other server.
6) Call gm
7) Tell gm you want to move a char that you didn't when you originally purchased a server transfer.
8) Spam "yes" to the gm when he asks you if you're ok with over 9000 restrictions, one at a time.
9) Log out.
10) Log back in.
11) Give item to main char.
12) ???
13) Profit!


You have to wait 90 days after buying your first content id, after that it doesn't matter how old each specific content id is, whether it's 2 mins old, or over 9000 years old.
