Recently my LS has decided to start camping Dark Ixion, we usally have about 4+ scanners ect but we get outclaimed by JP's everytime with like 2 scanners. I guess what I'm asking is, is there some kind of way to know when campaign battles are going to end? Is there a tactic used to camp? We just sit there and scan the whole 5hours and its very anoyying getting outclaimed by 3 people.

Ixion spawns in certain locations in each zone. It's just finding out where.

Offensive battles (zone owned by beastmen) begin after Allied NPCs are dispatched, about 5min before they reach the zone, and then end after either a certain % of the fortifications are lowered (lowered by players/NPCs attacking forts, or by defeating defending beastmen), when all attacking NPCs have been defeated, or a certain period of time (1 hour?) has passed since the most recent wave of living NPCs was dispatched. If the battle was about to end but a new unit is less than 5min away, it won't end.

Likewise, defensive battles begin when Beastmen forces are dispatched and less than 5 minutes away, and end when a certain % of fortifications has been depleted, when all dispatched beastmen have been defeated, or a certain period of time has passed.

Consider that it might not be a level playing field. If they're on PC, they might have an advantage . . .

If you're camping the entire window, your scanners are probably falling asleep. Also, your competition is probably using a bot to announce when/where it pops.
