    Well, I'm looking forward to XIV. XI pisses me off with it's PS2 limitations, at least XIV will be able to make use of most of my system resources and run well. I mean, I have 4 GB of RAM, a nVidia Geforce 9800 GT 1 GB card, a great processor, and a 22 mb/s connection. So fuck PS2 limitations.

    I'll play XIV provided they don't announce something that absolutely ruins any chance I'll find it enjoyable. Which is to say,

    *Information containing the word "zodiac", "judge", or "magic" spelled with a K
    *PC version requires Windows 7
    *A cash shop

    After that, I guess how long I keep playing would depend mainly on what they mean by character progression being through the growth of your weapon. If it just ends up meaning that the gap between haijins and normal players is even bigger I probably won't stick around long.

    Hmmm.

    I quit XI a while ago now and I really want to give XIV a shot but it's going to depend on a lot of factors, mainly whether I can get friends to join me but also the Job system and whether or not SE have learnt from their past mistakes.

    Stop hatin' on Ivalice =( it's awesome.

    The crystal chronicles world on the other hand is the one that scares me off...

    But clearly from what we've seen it won't be either of those, probably a new world closely related to FFXI's.

    I'll day 1 FF XIV and likely continue playing it unless it is just God-awful. I may still play FF XI here and there for the hell of it and eventually quit depending on my LS.

    If I get fed up with XIV though, I'll likely quit both games.

    My friends and I quit FFXI back in April, and we'll definatly be picknig up FFXIV when it comes out.
